About Samuel R. Baxter, MD
Samuel R. Baxter, MD, is an exceptional, fellowship-trained adult reconstructive orthopedic surgeon at Martin Orthopedic in Hot Springs Village, North Little Rock, and Little Rock, Arkansas. He brings a variety of orthopedic training and expertise to the clinic and treats people of all ages.
Dr. Baxter earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
Dr. Baxter went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and an adult reconstruction fellowship at the University of California, Davis. He has published research in prestigious medical journals and presented at various medical conferences nationwide.
In his free time, Dr. Baxter enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs, playing drums and bass guitar with friends, rebuilding a six-string guitar, watching college sports, working on projects around the house, and spending time with his family at the lake.
He looks forward to helping his patients achieve a better quality of life and welcomes them to Martin Orthopedics.
